In a survey of over 2,000 Americans, the top brands holding place in the minds of people were queried. Who holds the number one spot? Sony. Coca-Cola only makes fourth, and Apple didn’t hit this top ten. Here’s the list:
- Sony
- Dell
- Kraft
- Coca-Cola
- Ford
- Toyota
- Honda & General Electric (tied)
- General Motors
- Microsoft and Hewlett Packard (tied)
- Proctor & Gamble
Maybe this is why the other day people thought the PS3 would be faster than the 360.

2339 isn’t a whole lot. The error ratio is still huge, and the results can be swayed entirely by choosing where you ask. Asking people in front of a Best Buy will bring out more responses like Sony and Dell than asking people that enter a post office. This really means nothing.

Sure, but this survey wasn’t conducted by a firm interested in Sony being in the top spot. And this survey was conducted online, not in front of Best Buy.
