Amazon Sets PS3 Price at $299

[Update: They’ve taken down the price.]

A strange thing happened over at the Amazon store. They found themselves a crystal ball, peered into it a bit, and came out with a numer. Two hundred ninety-nine. Two hundred ninety-nine dollars, that is, and that’s the price they stuck on the PS3.

Early days yet, subject to change, of course. But I found it amusing, so I thought you might too.

A month ago, amazon.ca had Virtua Tennis for PSP (to be released in september) at 32$. Now it is at 49.99$. I wonder if Amazon would have sold it to me at 32$ if had ordered the game at the time? Same would apply for the PS3.

Pc : @Blackstaffer and anybody else who wants to know....I have those trigger attachments for both of my controllers and they work great! It feels weird playing without them now.

Emrah : Another Sony screw-up. With the new interface, you cannot create a sub-account for people over 18. This is stupid. In the license agreement, it says you can, but sub-account choices are not displayed at all if you pick an over 18 age. Please advise..

Tosh Hatch : You just beat the single player campaign. And FYI they are working on more DLC already for the game.

Rjcc : same here, I'm glad for a demo so I cna give it a try, cuz I didn't like the previous mgs games, so I wouldn't just buy right off
Glitch : As strange as it might seem, MGS4 isn't that high on my list at the moment. I'm downloading the demo as we type, but I'm not sure if I want to play it. Because I will play the whole game at some point and don't really want to ruin any surprises.
