I don't know. A little bit sure, but probably not that much in the end. They're trying to make the PS3 a home entertainment device, so being compatible with all those flash cards out there for picture viewing is one way to do that. Now, whether or not the PS3 shoould be a home entertainment device or just a "simple" gaming console, that's a different question! Sure, its nice PS3 supports SD memory, but why increase the cost of the console for it? It would be easy enough to offer an add-on for other formats. Besides, considering how much Sony has invested, its not a crime for Sony to want to promote its own memory stick products. Love the dual HDMI spec! Although I doubt it can be done, dual screen multi-player action would be awesome!!
