ICO Developer Does PS3 | PS3Blog.net

For all you ICO fans out there, you’ll be happy to know that Fumito Ueda, the director, game designer and lead artist on ICO, has said that his next game would be on the PS3. Don’t get too anxious yet, though, because it’ll be several years before you get to play it.

Ueda went on to agree that the three years he normally takes to make a game is too long, but also expressed fears that developing for a next generation console would make this wait still longer.

Ueda also hinted that he is interested in developing a game for Sony’s PSP and that he has wanted to do so for some time. He says that while his team are renowned for creating games with realistic settings, their tack might change for the PSP. The example he mentioned was that characters might be given huge heads.
