Sony Acquires Guerilla Games

Guerilla Games, the creators of the smash hit PS3 game preview Killzone at E3, have been acquired by Sony. Just to make sure, I guess.

In addition, Sony’s confirmed Guerilla Games is working on both a PlayStation 3 sequel and a PSP spin-off of their stylized futuristic FPS. “As we prepare for the launch of PlayStation 3 next year, this acquisition strengthens our development portfolio to take full advantage of the exciting entertainment opportunities provided by PSP, PlayStation 3 and beyond,” says SCE WSS president Phil Harrison.
