Interesting article but I'll remain skeptical as well. However, the article does site many logical points. For example, the part in which it was stated that developers r experiencing difficulty producing a solid framerate in 1080p. That was something iPredicted when the spec of the PS3 was initially announced; espeically w/ the dual 1080p output. iDon't believe the PS3 has enough RAM to do that. Its processing power is not so relevant 'cuz there is not way a developer can coax a game to run @ those resolutions within the limitations of the memory while sporting a level of visual sophistication we all realisticly expect from this generation. Even if it was possible, the bandwidth required between components would b enourmous and iDoubt the PS3 can support it outside of simpler games.

Sony might have made a problem 4 themselves in this regard though. A lot of PS fans r not objective enough to understand that the E3 videos where promotional videos intended to generate hype. Many will b expecting the games to look that good; either @ launch or sometime in the future. iPersonally don't expect to c visuals @ the level of Killzone & Motorstorm until the next generation. A present time, the resources required to produce a quality game at that level - assuming its possible now - will b prohibitavely expensive 4 even the largest developers.

The generation gap between the X360 & the PS3 will not be as great as Sony would like many to believe. The PS3 is launching later therefore it is expected to sport better guts & eventually the PS3 could theoretically pull away but not by any signficant margin. But will it really matter? PS2 was lacking compared to GC & the 'box but it still represented relentlessly like there was no end. The way iLook @ it, both systems have their advantages & disadvantages when compared. The X360 has more general CPU power but the PS3 has its SPE to offset that somewhat. iGuess we'll will find out 4 years from now when these systems r being pressed to the limits.

I'm very skeptical, not of what the PlayStation 3, but how genuine that article is.

Kikizo isn't the most reliable source to say the least.
