Bain to give PS3 Talk
I’m an IBM’er. A relatively new one - I just started my job a month ago today, as a matter of fact. But I like it. I’m doing some cool software development work in Java that I really enjoy. (It’s a refreshing change from all the C++ work I’ve previously done.) Today we had a developers meet where we got to hear what other IBM’ers at the Ottawa labs are up to. I heard about IBM’s J9 Java VM, for example, and it was an interesting talk.
A Mr. George Bain will give another technical, interesting, developer-oriented talk, but he works for Sony and will be talking about PlayStation 3 development. I love my job and IBM and all, but I would really love to be in the room when Mr. Bain gives his talk. Anybody able to attend the event at O’Neill’s “Irish” pub in London’s Kings Cross on Wednesday, 22nd February would be pretty lucky.
(after 3 weeks... but for 23.5€ I cannot remotely complain!)
