Readers’ Thoughts
Second is Michael, a reader who is getting just a little fed up with all the complaints about lack of information from Sony:
I don’t know why everyone has given up hope on finding out the PS3 release date and price. Has everyone forgotten about the next big Sony event in the near future, March 22? This is the day that Phil Harrison himself has said that he will come out of silence and release all the PS3 info, including release date, price, peripherals, everything? Everyone should just take a chill pill until March 22, and after that, if we still haven’t found out anything new, then get upset; in fact, go out and get an Xbox 360 cuz if we don’t hear any big PS3 announcements at the Game Developers Conference then we’re not gonna hear anything at all.
Now it’s been a while since I read the announcement about Mr. Harrison’s talk, but I don’t think that he promised he would reveal all those details mentioned. At any rate, I am looking forward to what he has to say. But I am not getting my hopes up.

Ooooh, these blog spammers are getting trickier all the time. The first person asking for Call of Duty 2 opinions? He’s actually a blog spammer. I didn’t notice the website link (attached to his name) he was using at first, and when I got a similar comment on HDBlog.net, but asking about a different product, then it all came together. Nasty nasty. Anyway, I removed the link, but left the comment there, just so you can see how tricky he was.

I would actually say E3 is sort of a drop dead date. If by the end of E3 there aren’t solid details of the PS3 launch than all is doomed. Not waiting for the PS3 myself, but I am interested to see how it plays into the Blu-Ray / HD-DVD war.
