At a Q&A session with select member of the press, Sony’s Phil Harrison said that all PS3 games will be region free! So if that F1 game I’m looking for will only be sold in Europe, then I can import it and play it just fine. That’s awesome news in my book.

This is so awesome. I can now import Super Robot Wars and many other JAP games without mod chipping it!

I cant understand why they have done this.
maybe its better for them to do that then everyone try and chip them and play copies as well
But im not complaining that great news for me cheap inported games.
