How Am I doing? | PS3Blog.net

I’ve now been writing on here for over a month now. I’ve enjoyed doing it & I especially like it when you guys leave comments (good or bad) as it makes what I’m doing worthwile & I’d like to know what you guys think?

I mainly talk about games, games & more games & I leave the complicated stuff to Henning. 😉

Is there anything you would like me to write about in particular? Focus on certain games? Focus on certain genres more?

What do you want to see more of related to games?

Did you like it when I plucked one of my favourite games from PS2 & talked about what I would like to see in a PS3 version or did you think it was pointless?

Your feedback is important so if I’m doing something that you think is not relevant please don’t hesitate to let me know. On the other hand if I’m doing something that you like to see more of then let me know & I’ll see what I can do.

Don’t hold back….

I think you and Henning are doing a truely fantastic work :). I often come to this site (thanks for supporting feeds) and read what you have written and I find it most times very good :). So continue with your good work and thank you for doing this 🙂

Thanks Tomas. I’m pleased you enjoy the site.

I come here every other day to read whats here. Your doing a good job but I would like to see more on racing games. Keep up the good work.

  • Of course I think you’re doing a great job too, Gary! I too would like to see more on racing games, but I’ve done a search on that recently and I realize that there’s not a lot of them scheduled for the PS3.

Thanks Henning! Yeah the PS3 has loads of FPS for some reason.

I reckon that around 50% (rough guess) of PS3 games currently in development are FPS which I find puzzling as that genre is more at home on a PC.

  • You’re doing fine, Gary. Keep it up 🙂
B.t.w. how can I see who the author is of one post?

  • Gary

Just under the title it will have the name of who wrote it. Right next to the date & next to “comments”.

I LOVE this column dude, I read your blog evreyday.

  • Thomas: just for you, I also added it under the “Entry Info” section when viewing a single post.

I think your doing a pretty damn good job. 😉 Keep it up. 😛

Yeah, I concur with these other folks that you are doing a very good job. I don’t agree with everything you post, but of course ps3blog is for opinions and news, and I appreciate having threads that aren’t dominated by teenage fanboys like most major gaming sites have. One suggestion: you and Henning ref ign.com a lot, which is a good source for screenshots, but without a paid subscription, their vids are pretty useless. You may want to check filefront.com and gametrailers.com to see if they have HD movies and interviews available for dl when you ref a particular game or trailer. BTW I just got the latest PSM today and they were like ‘we totally expect every PS3 to ship with a 60GB HDD and sell for 399USD’. I know that I’ll have to wait and see if UT2k7, Stranglehold, and Motorstorm are launch games before I preorder for 600USD.

Very good work, and seems to be very up to date too. I’ve started coming here instead of the terrible ps3fanboy (its run by a load of Nintendo fanboys more like, the Joystiq crew). I agree with most of what you say, and generally like the fact that you try and concentrate on everything going on with PS3 no matter how small.

    Keep it up!
