I recently wrote about the rumours concerning the supposed remake of THE greatest RPG of all time, FFVII, & Square Enix has finally responded to the rumours.
Speaking to IGN:
“Since the FINAL FANTASY VII tech demo at E3 2005, there have been a lot of rumors about the presentation hinting at an actual remake. While the June 2006 issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly confirms the remake for release in 2007, Square Enix has never stated this.
We have however confirmed that development has begun for Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII on PlayStation 3. These titles are part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis Project which also includes a mobile game titled FINAL FANTASY Agito XIII.”
So that’s not a no nor is it a yes. Well I say FFVII IS in development & it WILL be shown at TGS this September!!!
I just hope I’m proved right….

I hope so, because back in the PS1 days, I didnt have my own (my brother had one) PS1 so I didnt play PS1 much, henceforth I didnt play games, that took more than 1-2 hours at best, and nowadays the graphics suck donkey balls
Still playin’ FF8 though (on my Laptop at University… Thank god for wine!!)
