C&VG is reporting that the US Official Playstation Mag is dishing out a couple details on Assassin’s Creed, one of the most anticipated games for the PS3.
First up, downloadable content. We’ve all debated this before. I don’t know what form the downloadable content will take, but I hope the gaming experience isn’t shortened made second-rate in any way because the developer wants you to purchase extra content. Supposedly this is the first 3rd party game to announce the use of downloadable content.
What has me excited is that the game will feature co-op missions. I love playing co-op games – it adds so much to the experience. I wonder if the co-op missions are on-line, local, or both? Regular readers will know which one I’m hoping for…
And lastly, the game is due in Europe in early 2007. Unfortunately, C&VG’s article doesn’t mention any release date for North America.
