					<description>Nintendo is not saying they are going to compete with Xbox Live though.  They could just do what PS2 did last time and have the developers do their own thing.

I hope Sony can somehow pull off a free online service that rivals Live.  Since none of us know anything about Sony World or whatever they are calling it, we have no comparisons to make.

I have been a Live subscriber since 3 months after the service launched in 2002 (I think).  I have no problem paying for the service that delivers what Live does.  It makes online gaming so easy a caveman could do it (yes the Geico reference).  The $50 I have spent for online gaming has gone much farther than 3-4 $50 games I have bought.

Sonys Online plans is the most important information to me.  I want that info more than the PS3 itself (my purchase hinges on their service)</description>
