Battlefield: Bad Company Announced for PS3 |

EA has announced that Battlefield: Bad Company is currently in development for the PS3 & Xbox 360. Karl Magnus Troedsson, senior producer at DICE had this to say about the game:

“The heart of DICE’s multiplayer games is the frenetic, unpredictable nature of the sandbox experience, where anything could happen at any moment, and that’s what we’re bringing to the core of Battlefield: Bad Company’s single-player campaign. In a world that’s 90% destructible, the gameplay possibilities are infinite – the battlefield is always changing, forcing players, teammates, and enemies to react accordingly. Gamers will have total freedom to adapt to and tackle challenges in creative Battlefield-style ways.”

What about the other 10%!! 🙂

I’ve only played Battlefield: Modern Combat on the PS2 so I haven’t really had a lot of experience with the Battlefield games but it sure was a lot of fun.

It seems as though they are focusing more on the single player experience from the above comments which is a bit of a departure from their normal Battlefield games. It will be interesting to see how this game develops.

Thanks to Mustafa for bringing this to my attention.

  • Wow… another FPS… thats adds up to what… 30 now?

Now tell me… Tell me… Where’s next gen? Its the same crap over and over again, with better graphics, which I already have on my not so next gen pc (2-3 yrs old…).

Next gen does NOT only mean new graphics, it means also new gameplay, which I sorely miss as of yet.
