Doesn’t really matter to me if the 360 gets some kind of exclusive content because GTA was truthfully born on Playstation !!! So that’s where i’ll be playing my GTA. As for Assassins Creed, the AI will not be better on the 360 when comparing to the PS3 !!! That’s just foolish talk right there. Come on now…3 cores VS 7 spe’s. To some developers it might be easier programming on the 360, only because they have no idea how to program for a playstation. I guarantee you though, the guys that are programming for Playstation that have been in the game for a whole minute, will end up making games for the PS3 which can deffinately not be played on any other system. Resistance for an example…The way it is being developed makes it impossible to be played on any other system just because of all the content (hd) and extra things they have implemented into the game making it over 20 gb’s of compressed data. I gues i’m done now …

Most reporters don’t want make bogus quotes, but those that do are the ones that we hear about. Some rumors turn out to be true. For example, rumors of Assassin’s Creed being released for the 360 turned out to be true. But it’s far more common for rumors to be completely off base.

When devs and producers talk about improved graphics and improved gameplay and improved AI they are often talking in general, as in “improved compared to other games” or “improved compared to what people are used to”.

GTA4 for PS3 might not have any downloadable or exclusive content and I didn’t say that it would. But I did say that it is a real possibility. Other sites reported that GTA4 will definitely not have downloadable content, and while none has been officially announced, that’s really not a true statement. The writers claiming that don’t know that.

Whether I’m concerned over the loss of features for myself as a gamer is another issue. Right now, I’m being critical of the reporting of other gaming sites.

Many sites ran headlines such as “Sega confirms no online play for PS3 Virtua Tennis”. That is flat out false. That’s not at all what Sega said.

The Assassins Creed rumor comes from a line in an ign article that is very easily found so “I couldn’t find the source anywhere” isn’t true, email the writer and ask them about it.
Why would they be comparing crowd ai on the 360 to previous gen platforms? There’s nothing to compare it to since the gmae won’t be coming out on ps2 or xbox. that leaves….ps3 and pc.

and c’mon now, saying you’re “clearing up rumors” and then saying “well maybe rockstar is also planning some other, totally unannounced content for the ps3 version” isn’t even close to doing so. Have they announced anything extra at all for the ps3 version? Has anyone even mentioned anything like that, until here and now? The virtua tennis rumor is that, just a rumor. and if you yourself say it’s “up in the air”, that doesn’t concern you at all that a pretty standard feature is “up in the air”?

The PS3 version may use tilt control or BD in some way. Who knows.

What I do know is that I’d rather hear some stuff about the actual game please!

I read quite the opposite that the individual SPE’s are better at handling AI then the 360′s 3 core processor.

I’m sure PS3 will answer back in some manner to GTA.
