I think eventually the prices won't be so steep for many games. Remeber how 2Ksports started selling their sports titles for 19.99, even though they were high quality new releases. Over time, the cost to produce games will decrease, and we will see that reflected in some, but not all, of the titles prices. Some games I can see spending alot on, Gran Turismo 5 (the one coming after GTHD), MGS4, even Tekken 6 I can see spending top dollar on. However, like current gen, I will helpe ease the pain of purchases by trading in old games, and buying used when appropriate.
Unfortunately developers dont make anything off of the used game market, so essentially they dont benefit from my purchase. It seems that this is going an expensive generation for gamers. Even Wii owners will have to plop down 60 bucks for every Wiimote-nunchuck combo. Luckily online gaming will be free for most ps3 games, with few exceptions.

Launch is a VERY special time, however I still would find it hard to justify the nex-gen game prices. Man, I know these things are expensive to develop these days but come on...
