PlayStation 3 Unwrapped

IGN has a small article showing their unpacking of a test version of the PS3. Sure, it’s not the retail box experience, but it’s still something. Something that I’ve personally not been able to do. After all that work I did to get on someone’s inside track, I still have not touched a PS3, unlike these IGN people.

Ah well, at least we can be happy for those IGN folks. Above is my favourite of the images (I guess they got more cables than we will be), but there are more if you follow the link.

I don’t think HDMI or Optical are that thick …… maybe it’s just an additional power cord for the europe guys.

Mmm, I dunno. My optical cable is about the same thickness as the one on the left.

Pc : @Blackstaffer and anybody else who wants to know....I have those trigger attachments for both of my controllers and they work great! It feels weird playing without them now.
Trev : can't say my fingers have ever slipped off the shoulder buttons but i have read about people liking them.
Emrah : Another Sony screw-up. With the new interface, you cannot create a sub-account for people over 18. This is stupid. In the license agreement, it says you can, but sub-account choices are not displayed at all if you pick an over 18 age. Please advise..

Tosh Hatch : You just beat the single player campaign. And FYI they are working on more DLC already for the game.

Rjcc : same here, I'm glad for a demo so I cna give it a try, cuz I didn't like the previous mgs games, so I wouldn't just buy right off
Glitch : As strange as it might seem, MGS4 isn't that high on my list at the moment. I'm downloading the demo as we type, but I'm not sure if I want to play it. Because I will play the whole game at some point and don't really want to ruin any surprises.

Glitch : The Metal Gear Solid demo is on the European store as well. So you can get it there.
