Find Some HDMI Cables for PS3 | PS3Blog.net

PS3 Fanboy started a discussion about finding cheap HDMI cables for use with your PS3. First of all, let me get one thing out of the way: if you already have an HDMI cable you do not need to go out and buy a new HDMI cable to support HDMI 1.3. There’s nothing different about the cables themselves.

It’s weird that I’m writing this up today, because I just swapped out my component cables for my HDMI to DVI cable to make sure that it works. (Testing with my PVR.) I bought this cable several months ago, tested it out, and then stopped using it. Frankly, I don’t remember why, but I think that it may have to do with the colours, though it doesn’t look bad now.

Personally, I bought my HDMI – DVI cable from Monoprice, and I couldn’t be happier. It was cheap, and it’s well built. Monoprice isn’t your only option, however. I’ve also heard good things about eHDMI.com. For more options, check out the article link below.

Fanboys unite! Let’s find cheaper HDMI cables than this!

  • I just bought a HDMI cable off amazon about a week ago for $5 buck lol.

I’ll probably buy one from monoprice. Ive heard good things about them +they are not sooo cheap I’ll think they will stop working any moment.

  • The cable I got at amazon had a lot a excellent review / comments about it. It’s a thick HDMI cable, I don’t have a HDTV or PS3 yet to test it out on though 😛

  • Soon, very soon!
