PS3 Hyperdrive in the Works


Team Xecuter is working on a sidecar-like peripheral for the PS3 that’ll let you pop in hard disk drives as you please. It’s supposed to simplify the whole plugging in an HDD thing, and will be connectable to a PC via USB.

Personally I’m not so sure what this thing is for. Why use a sidecar when you can plug it right in? Will you be able to easily switch between an internal HDD and a sidecar HDD? That would be cool.

Maybe I’m just missing something…

    I think this would be pretty cool. You could put in a 750 GB hard drive if you want to!
