It was also developed by Reflections (Driver Fame). The game was up there with WipEout at launch as one of the must have games. It has aged quite badly to be honest. I still have the original ps1 version and we played few race and and good time. I really like the suicide race too bad there is no 4 players racing games these days that provide that much fun... I just don't think that Destruction Derby is one of them. It's aged terribly, really. But I guess the same can be said for most racing type games.
