LittleBigPlanet Demonstration

LittleBigPlanet has the potential to be absolutely massive! Firstly check out the two videos of LBP in action, one showing you exactly how you create your own little piece of magic, and another showing what could happen if you create a popular and well liked level.

An orange with eyes!! I will never look at an orange the same way again. πŸ˜† I love the stickers feature! I can just imagine my own personal homage to Devil May Cry. 8) I can see myself spending absolutely ages building and modifying my own level only for it to be shunned by the masses! πŸ˜† This is going to be immense fun and time consuming but in a good way.

If that sharing vid turns out to be the way the game is in it’s final form then that’s going to be awesome! The comments feature is also going to be a great addition, superb! 2008 can’t come soon enough now. LBP is hurtling it’s way to the top of my wost wanted list…

Yeah 2008 before it’s full release. πŸ˜₯ Want this game so badly. Almost as much as I want DMC4 and that’s saying something.

The Gamespot keynote vid shows much more, level designing, playing and whatnot…

At the end of the show, they showed a trailer of 4 people building stuff, so this is going to work πŸ˜€

I dont know exactly what they meant. In the keynote they say it will be avail. in 2007 for DL and on BDROM in 2008…

Will the DL feature also everything or is it just a demo, or what?

This is going to be awesome is sooo many ways !!! I can’t wait to design a level and upload it onto the Playstation Network so other people can try it out (if that’s possible). The physics are great and the fact that up to 4 people can play it with me makes it even better !! Sony hit us hard with some great upcoming features and ideas yesterday. Now i just want to try this stuff out πŸ™‚

I have a sneaky feeling this will be PS3’s most IMPORTANT game for the next few years. Bigger than Nintedogs and up there with The Sims.

Besides the great graphics and playability, we are starting to figure out the importance of social networking and showing off user created content.

This game has both. Well done Sony.

This game is definitely going to be awesome. With the developers making levels to show users what can be done, and with some creative types really doing some amazing things, this will be a must buy for any ps3 user. A guy in a podcast proposed an interesting idea, what if a developer like David Jaffe designs a level and says “if you make it to the end, you will see a screenshot of my next game plastered on the wall at the finish line. Things like that can bring asurge of interest into the game.

I also LOVE the fact that not only is the game cooperative, but even the construction! Me and my nephew often help eachother make linerider levels, but this is that taken to next level!

it looks so fun and so cute! and when you watch the high-resolution versions of these videos, you realize how incredible the graphics are, too. they look so “natural”, so much so that you don’t even think about it. and the physics look amazing.
