I love how people compare a 2nd year 360 game to a 1st year PS3 game. A launch title at that. ;)

The Gears of War vs question is pretty simple.

Other then smaller areas, streaming textures and massively shorter game. Gears had a engine near complete and a year longer development time. Resistance has a much simpler engine that was developed along side the game.

Epic and ID are two of the best engine creators. Gears coming from Cliffy you know it's going to push the system and impress.

Cool stuff here man. I like the program Maya, I have used it a few times in college. The program has been used to make several CG short films that are great. I agree with insomniac and the whole co-op stuff. It seems that when there is one mode missing people get all worked up. I have seen enough stuff on ratchet and clank, Iam already sold. Anyways it must have been tuff to come up with the right questions. Iam looking forward to Part II.

* WINCE *

Gary asked for the same thing. But I didn't think they'd reveal much about an unreleased game so I didn't really ask about R&C.

If you want to read an interview with R&C info, you can check out this one:

<a href="http://www.psu.com/node/9630" rel="nofollow">PSU Interviews Insomniac</a>

Part II of our interview deals mostly with the PS3 and its capabilities. I think you'll like it.

I don't know the whole answer to that, but I know that Gears used streaming textures while FoM did not. I also know that Insomniac is now adding streaming textures to their engine.
