Home Beta Emails Sent out
Well, if you’re a member of PlayStation Underground and/or GAP (Gamer Advisory Panel) you are highly likely to have received an e-mail invitation to be part of the Home Beta program.
Unfortunately, even though I’m a PlayStation Underground member, I received no such invitation!
I’m ticked….

Some people have said that, but on the IGN board several non-GAP members have said they received invites.

eeh.. Tosh..?
Is this link for real?

It’s a link from the email’s.
Not sure if it will work since the id’s wont match the invite system. But at worse you just wont get accepted. Can’t hurt to try.
One word of warning though. It leaves the last person’s information in the input fields when you sign up that way. So the next person can see your ID, email and name.

I hear that even if you got the email it dosent mean your in. Something about a survey you must fill out when you get the email then you have to what for another email. I seen the names are left on the web site but oh well, no one would beleive my name anyways.

Why be ticked? Beta testing isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. They’ll probably have multiple Beta phases with minimum weekly online time. If you fall below your time, you get booted from the next phase. Sometimes it can run 10, 20, even 40 hours per week. That’s pretty brutal, especially when you realize that not all the functionality will be present, and it may crash or have other issues.

I didn’t get an email either, but I’m not really interested in trying out something that’s not finished and polished. I want to play around with the “real” thing when it’s done.

This is a ramp up beta also. So more invites coming over the next few months.
The stress phase is always the best one to get into. But I dont see why people are getting upset for not getting invited to to be part of a small beta when only a small group were chosen and out of that not everyone that gets the e-mail will get in. Almost as if people feel entitled. Kinda sad really.
