If you’re reading this before you’ve clicked play on the video below, then there’s something wrong with you. Seriously. Click play and drool over what is on display.

“Devil May Cry 4 is an action game” No kidding! 8) I’m not pleased with his comment that they have made the game easier. DMC3 was a lot easier than DMC1 but it seems they are pandering towards a new audience with DMC4. Still, from what I’ve seen of DMC4 and having played Ninja Gaiden Sigma, DMC4 is going to be the standout action game on PS3 this year.

IGN.com also has a preview of DMC4 and they have revealed a couple of new bits of info. Firstly, Nero can grab items through bars or barriers once he has acquired an item called the “Evil Legacy”. He can also perform a move known as the “Grim Grip” which he can use to travel between highlighted portals as seen in this video. Using the Grim Grip should allow for you to choose different routes through some areas of Fortuna.

Check out IGN’s preview at the link below. You’ll also find that the Official DMC4 Website has been updated to include the 360 logo, with no new content at all. I don’t know how I’m going to afford all the quality games i have my eye on later this year but DMC4 is a definite buy.

Don’t count Heavenly Sword out yet for action game of the year.

Everything about DMC4 sounds excellent, but I’m bothered that Dante is taking a back seat to Nero. Nero has big shoes to fill.
