I bought the "enhanced" support and I see the PS3 5.0.1 ISO image on the premium download servers.

On the free servers, I only see the 5.0 image. I assume you can use the 5.0 image and update from that. I also assume that the free mirrors will get the 5.0.1 image soon.

This is great news as the main reason for wanting to use linux of PS3 was to use applications that required web access, as my PS3 is connected via wifi it was pretty useless to me.

Good to see that I wont have to reformat my drive too as I didn't want to lose all my downloads again

My only question now is, does anyone know what firmware version this requires? It says to upgrade your firmware before installing, I'm currently at 1.54

I can't find a 5.0.1 ISO image on the download servers. Am I missing it or do I have to install 5.0 and then use an updater to update to 5.0.1? Or is there a complete 5.0.1 ISO coming?
