Resistance Update. What do you want?
The Resistance update should arrive by the end of this month, so what would you like to see in the Resistance: Fall of Man update?
You should be able to buy two new multi-player maps from the PLAYSTATION Store (price not yet known) and the global servers should also be ready as part of the update but is there anything you would like to see made available?
Personally I don’t like paying for stuff like new maps but if they are cheap enough, something like £2 or thereabouts, then I may be tempted.
I would like to be able to create a ranked match, or at least choose the type of Team Objective you can do when you click on Ranked Team Objective. I’ve only ever played Capture the Flag and Meltdown when I’ve played Team Objective in ranked games.
Erm that’s all I can think of right now so what would you like from the forthcoming update?

I think paying for maps is not a bad thing if they are reasonably priced. By that I mean iTunes pricing like .99 cents. It helps extend the gamelife and it helps the developers in an unexpected way. It stops people from trading in their copy for a newer game that means that there are more sales of the game overall. That helps the developers. I can live with that. I’d even buy user created maps if they passed a certification process. Imagine it. A three part user created level. I’d pay $2.99 for that. Especially if the user/creator got a cut.
I’d like team logos and clans. An di’ve kind of gotten out of Resistance since I’ve been playing Oblivion since it came out. I’m almost done. I think. Unless they come out with an expansion.

4 players at once? you people must have a big TV, controls, and friends that will play all at once. I dont care if I have to pay for the new level. To be able to chose differnet things in ranked would be nice. I want to be able to turn my headset on during the game and not have to leave the whole game, but I suppose that cant be fixed.

I hope they fix the problems with the respawn issues. I also agree with the map purchase so long as it’s reasonably priced.

I think they definitely need a button for clan battles/tounaments.
I’m trying to organise (my first) one for my clan, and there is so much hassle doing it on the computer, finding the right websites, etc.
With this, you could challenge another clan by pressing the button+typing in the name; their leader accepts, and a message is automatically sent to all the clan members. This doesn’t seem that much to ask, and it would make life SO much easier+enjoyable.
You should also be able to search and view other clans.
Anyways, thats just my opinion….
