GRAW 2 PS3 Details?
These seem to be the days of totally unsubstantiated rumours (I’m referring to yesterday’s firmware v2 feature list, of course), so I might as well throw some more fuel on the fire with this list of supposed GRAW 2 PS3 features. They sound almost too good to be true. Hmmm….
Key Differences
- Six Axis features:Controller features used for Mitchell & Cross-com control
- SP: Drive the supports (drone, M.U.LE) with the Six Axis functionality
- SP/MP : Change Mitchell stances with the Six Axis

Consistency increased between SP & MP: Scope, Movement, Aiming… - PS3 specifics adaptation of controls: Menus, Shoot button…
- 14 additional maps resulting in a total of 32 MP maps!!!
Multiplayer Additional Information

Gargh! I’ve tried gaming with a keyboard and mouse but I just can’t do it. Joypad and joystick (back in the day) is the only way. ^_^

I do both. CoD2 on PC’s at work, console gaming at home.
I find console gaming FPS to be harder to control, but still fun…

Funny thing… I have the Xbox360 version and have had group parties with this game, and was pretty pumped to hear it come out for PS3. The 360 version is a bit too choppy in 4-player split screen mode, so I’m hoping the PS3 version improves on this.
Then I thought about it further, and how seen how bad game ports have been for PS3, I decided to skip on GRAW2 – also because Ubisoft doesn’t seem to favour the PS systems so much, so less effort on their part to try and utilize PS3’s power.
But this new bit of news has got me pumped again! I think I just might pick it up now… =)

I’m not keeping my hopes up. When I see news like this I get an initial feeling of elation, but then reality sets in and I remember games like Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Call of Duty 3, and I think that we’re about to get the short end of the stick again.
I don’t hold out much hope for splitscreen on the PS3 either…
This way, if the port is any good, I’ll be pleasantly surprised instead of disappointed again.
