$399.99 is too much to hope for, I think. If Sony plays it very aggressively, we might see $449.99, but I just can't believe they'd be able to knock down to $399.99 in one year if their original build cost was truly over $800.

The EGM Live podcast from yesterday nailed it - games like heavenly sword and warhawk need to be out NOW, not several months from now. The lack of consistency in first party output has been dreadful. Insomniac got the ball rolling with a good launch title, and nobody has followed it up too well. Motorstorm was good but not really feature complete.

If they don't drop the price to $399.99 in the fall than it's pretty clear that Stringer considers the game division to be a nuisance. It's a shame they built up such a great brand over more than a decade and are flushing it down the toilet in record timing.
