I've got Frequency and on my (Euro) PS3 through HDMI to my 40" Samsung HDTV I don't notice any lag, I've not noticed any lag at all on any games, maybe a software emulation benefit?... or is it maybe the TV? I know my Samsung has a game mode feature, but AFAIK its used for older consoles through SCART (AV). I didn't even know HDMI had that problem with PS2 games on PS3....

The lag is only noticeable for me on games that require precise timing, like Frequency or Guitar Hero. I can play most other games just fine.

It is strange that we don`t hear more complain about the lag issue. As far as I'm concern, PS2 games are unplayable, sure we have nice graphic, but the lag ruins everything.

The radioshack PS2 to USB adapter works well with GH2. The only thing that doesn't work is the whammybar.
