This is the E3 2006 Trailer Remastered. It’s running on the newest version of the MGS 4 engine, it has a ton of little visual, animation, particle effects and over all graphics have improved dramatically. The lighting in the game is amazing. Especially the scene when snake has the gun to his mouth. I can’t wait to get my hands on this game!

MGS4 is going to be fantastic. Shame we have to wait so long for it but it will be worth it. graphically, I think it may raise the bar when it’s released next year.

So many blogs picked this up, even Joystiq and Kotaku and their self applied title of upholding Journalistic integrity, puh-leez.
I think it was really an issue of so many people having not seen it in a long time, and assuming it looked better than they remembered. Not to mention that many people didn’t see it when it came out due to the demand making it difficult to stream.

I loved how Kotaku mainly pointed out how the PS3 logo was missing from this ‘new’ version. Destructiod again mentioned a 360 version, but they were one of the only sites to fall for the hoax 2 weeks ago by the Swedish guys on the xbox forums with the fake press release.

It cannot be “not” new.
First, look at the NeoGAF thread about it. They made animated gifs, comparing the trailers, and they ARE different.
A missing “PS3″ Logo doesnt bother me, the TGS trailer didnt have one either and Hideo Himself said, “PS3 only”!
