I am surprised that people are surprised its not coming to the Wii. I mean that flatly WOULD. NOT. WORK. nor would it be practical for numerous reasons. I am more of a Tekken man, but this is definitely my number 2.

The fact that Soul Calibur is set in a sort of Medieval time period always was a sore spot for me. I always wanted the game to be set in another time, just because I had no personal interest in the middle ages. However with some characters, i see how that would be impossible to do now.

Another thing, Yoshimitsu is always lamer in SC than he is in Tekken games. In SC he is always this clownlike old coot that says dumb stuff, in Tekken he is this awesome scifi insect-like thing.

…And another thing, why the hell did they make Ivy’s boobs as big as her head. I mean those things are insane.

Tekken is my all time favorite fighting game. I’ve played Tekken 1 – Tekken DR. It’s a been a great series for the most part ( cough cough … Tekken 4 … cough cough).

I agree Yoshimitsu is lame in the SC series, what is up with that? He finally gets to use his sword and they make him look like a idiot. I loved Soul Calibur 2. But 3 was …… ok, I lost interest.

    Gah! I hate Raphael, lol.

Raphael is so cheap, he is WAY faster than the majority of characters, has greater range than other fast characters (like taki), and has more powerful moves than her. I always hated playing against him.

Hehe. I like how if you know your opponents fighting habits with the character they’re using, you can easily avoid their attacks with Raphael’s evasion stances. Hope Namco keeps that in SC IV.
