The newest Tekken is just like the last Tekken...in my opinion. I just don't see much room for improvement in the series. Here is what 3d fighters consist of: 1.) Announcer says FIGHT! 2.) Player on left of screen trys to kick or punch player on right half of screen. 3.) Button Combos (so 1990!) 4.) K.O's and Perfect's. 5.) Best 2 out of 3. 6.) Lather, rinse, repeat. See? Not much room for improvent. They can't include anything else, like some sort of first person or third person exploring, because the past has shown those don't work...(All good games take one step forward...Not so fast Mortal Combat Shaolin Monks!) The problem is, the hardcore fans get uppity when they change it too much. I for one love the series. This was basically confirmed as soon as they said Tekken Dark Ressurection was going online. I mean, what kind of crap would that be if they added online only to take it out in the next game.
