My post about Ratchet & Clank Future got me thinking about which games I’m definitely going to buy for the PS3, no matter how bad the reviews are that they get. So here are the games that I’m definitely going to get on the PS3:

Mercenaries 2

Half Life 2: Orange Box

There are a load of games that I’m interested in but won’t take the plunge until I’ve read a number of reviews from different sources. Games such as:

Army of Two
Are there any PS3 games that you are going to get, even if they get below average review scores? Games that you are going to buy no matter what?

I don’t care if reviewers give it a high or low score, I am buying Stuntman: Ignition. It’s one of those games that you either love or hate.

Spooky, only yesterday I wrote a blog post on the 5 games I guaranteed to get this year, though two are for the Wii so I’ll leave those out.
Therefore, the 3 I will get for the PS3 are:
3) Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. The Hitman series rank pretty much at the top of my favourites list so this outing by Eidos is a certainty for me.
2) FIFA 2008 – FIFA took over from PES as my football simulation of choice last year and so I hold high hopes for this PS3 outing.
1) Assassin’s Creed – drool. This game looks fantastic, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Again I’m a fan of the PoP games so this is a guaranteed sale.
I’ll be very interested to see which one does win out of FIFA and PES though, and also how FIFA will compare on the Wii.
I’m interested also in Stuntman like Jax up above. It looks like it would be quite fun to play.
