While CoD4 looks awesome, I am also interested in these. From most interest to least, as long as they have decent splitscreen capabilities:

If Orange Box has Kyboard and Mouse support, I’ll buy it in a heartbeat but it doesn’t really look like we’ll get that so I’ll still have to spend a bit more time trying to figure out if I should get the new games on PC.

The above games are looking mighty fine and all almost definite purchases for me and I’m sure that some of those other games will begin to appeal to me as the release dates draw ever closer.

In order of purchase, i’ll look at getting 3, then killzone 2, warhawk, then haze, then possible COD4, all 3 are different. the other ? are questionable. Hopefully one of these will de-throne halo

My roommate will be getting CoD4 and Army of Two for 360, so no need to repurchase.
However, you left off my top shooter for this year…
Is no one else really excited about Clive Barker’s Jericho. That game looks F’ing awesome.

5 great games no doubt, but 5 shooters, do I really want 5 shooters in my library??? thats 300 bucks in games. I’ve always tried like heck to have a diverse library but now I don’t know…..

Oh yeah totally forgot to mention Blacksite:Area 51 looks good. Played the demo on the 360 before it died (bittersweet moment for me) and it was pretty solid. Too much like R:FoM? Yeah probably, but fun? Fo sho.

Mercenaries 2 didn’t even make the list?
That’s probably my most anticipated shooter, however one of the others could easily turn out to be better.

Not so sure that Mercenaries 2 qualifies as a shooter. I’d put it more under the Action category.

Regarding Jericho It fits pretty squarely into the squad based FPS…
Just maybe not the traditional enemies…
