The main character is a former soldier, so this time he actually knows how to defend himself. They actually changed the battle system of silent hill a little bit as well. You can dodge attacks and melee too. Even the enemies react to how they are being hit accordingly. You can even take on a group of enemies.

I really like it when you descend into hell that the paint peels off the wall, and deformation of your environment happens in real team.
