Tori-Emaki Interactive Screensaver Controlled by PS Eye

I really like this idea, nice way to relax from time to time. Just move your hand to control the flock of birds around ancient Japan. The game is made by PlayLogic, no word on a release date. But the PS Eye is out on October 23rd.

I hope Sony thinks of more ways to use PS Eye, it’s great technology. But this is a good start.

You can see large screen shots of it at NeoGAF.

Also check out this old video from Oct 2005 about the PlayStation Eye. Pretty interesting stuff :)

This is awesome. I always had a soft spot for this type of art.
I can not wait to try it with PS Eye. I would have so much fun.

  2. Dartmerc Says:

Apparently the eye comes with a few interactive screensavers, and maybe mini-games. Hopefully this is one of them!

  3. Emrah Says:

I had seen the second video earlier, and it is an awesome feat of technology. I hope it is true and it is not some brilliantly executed mockup of things that are theoretically possible. I haven’t seen anything like it since, and no, robot helmet and armour does not count, the one we see in new eyetoy adverts, it is far too easier (tho still hard) as it does not require detail face tracking, object removal and not only addition.

I have eye of judement preordered already…can’t wait to play that, this and many other eyetoy related games
