Six PS3 Titles This Week
Wow. There are six titles being released for the PLAYSTATION 3 this week, and some are pretty big. Ratchet and Clank is one of the most anticipated games this year, and other game like Jericho and Eye of Judgment have also been getting a lot of attention.
Here’s the list of games for the PS3 in North America this week:
- Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
- The Eye of Judgment
- Clive Barker’s Jericho
- Conan
- Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights
- Ratatouille
Anybody picking up any of these games? Personally, none of them really appeal to me. The Conan demo was fun, but it was only single player. I might rent it, along with R&C.
(after 3 weeks... but for 23.5€ I cannot remotely complain!)

Will be picking up R&C although been in the UK i suspect we will get this next week or the week after. I have been waiting for this game since PS3 launch, not fussed about the others, eye of judgment looks great but i have other titles that are higher up the purchase list before this one….

R&C demo was OK, but I didn’t like it. Too easy, like it was made for the younger gamers, 6-14 years old I never really got into the other R&C games, so I don’t know what the big deal is with this.
Eye of Judgment looks amazing, and will be a system seller.
Conan demo was pretty neat, and played like God Of War. I might end up picking this up as well.

R&C is my personal #1 title of the year so far. I have that on preorder.
Eye of Judgement: I wouldn’t pay $60 for the game, but the PS Eye is easily worth $40 and $30 extra for the card game that I can’t rent seems worth it.

after playing the demo, ratchet & clank is a MUST BUY for me. finally, an HD platforming game (besides sonic, which was terrible).

I’ll be getting R&C and Eye of Judgment (my 10 year old son is a big Yu-Gi-Oh! fan so is utterly stoked at the prospect of EOJ and is already discussing what sort of card deck he’ll build with his mates in the school yard) - if he’s indicative of 10 years olds around the world then Sony could have a monster hit on their hands!?
I might pick up Conan when it drops in price as the demo was nice enough but not in the God of War or Heavenly Sword league satisfaction wise…

@Bob Davey: Don’t be put off by the ease of the demo! The R&C games so far have been very challenging, and I expect ToD will be much the same.
Yes, the demo was extremely easy, but I expect the full game to have a much more ‘realistic’ difficulty level.

fleakitten…they moved it back up for some stores.
I’ll have to pass and gamefly R&C. I just simply dont’ have the funds. But I am getting Eye of Judgment.
