PS3 Rocks! |

As most of you have probably seen, the official PlayStation blog previewed the new PS3 TV ad campaign. Check out the videos.

Wow, I’m impressed. It’s just an ad, but they did a pretty good job. What do you think?

  • I think the PS3 is a load of crap. The biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent. Ever.

    Obviously that’s a lie.

    I think Sony suck at marketing the PS3. Their ads for the Bravia range of TVs are amazing though.

    I typo so much it’s annoying to read some of my comments. But I think the new ad campaign is a huge improvement from the white room.

    I like the new Ratchet and Clank commercial also. You can tell they have new people handling their ads

    They need to show more footage of games such as R&C, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword and the PS Eye etc, at peak viewing times during commercial breaks. The only ads I ever see on UK TV is for the DS, Wii or Halo 3.

    Now I don’t watch a lot of TV but I am sometimes forced to sit through soaps like Coronation Street which pulls in a fair amount of viewers.

  • For a quick 30 second ad I LOVE IT! Much funner to watch than the white room last year.

    Sporty, they’ve done ads of this style before. For example, this reminds me of the older play beyond videos.

    Gary, I think these ads are *awesome*, but I must admit that they probably could do a better job of getting the word out overall. They have an awesome product to sell.

    Also, it’s hard to put to much game footage in a short tv clip without killing the pace or length of the ad.

  • I like how they included Home in the first ad. Looks like the open beta is truly coming this late November / early December.

  • I haven’t even watched the ads, I’m mainly referring to the lack of advertising in the UK and on TV.

    This is just the first of many campaigns to show the different “facets” of the PS3…btw over here the local Sony Store sold all their 40GB stock the day before official release.
