Play any PS1 title via remote play

Like ehandlr pointed out in the chat box. You can play any PS1 game downloaded or disc via remote play. Man what a stealth update! You just need to install the 2.10 Firmware on the PS3 and the 3.80 firmware on the PSP and your set.

I gotta try this out tonight. MGS & FF7 hear I come :)

That’s cool. Though of no use to me whatsoever.

I can’t play my old PS1 games on my big screen. They just look like crap and deter me from playing further….but this way…I can play them on my PSP and watch tv at the same time. Instant win. FF7, FF8, FF9, Lunar here I come.

Perfect for turn based RPG, but with network latency it would be hard to play an action game.

I read this today at work and was in a hurry to get home and try it. Remote play works great (tried it on a few of my PS1 titles, all RPGs). A little latency here and there could cause problems in some games. Excellent feature, if you ask me.
