ihave read above but what are all the possible connections to the back of the system??

as in can fiber optics be used instead of av?? when i first saw the rumors about them u could but i havent been able to get my hands on one to have a look.

Yup, red/white connection so they should work fine plugged directly into any TV with the right connections. I don’t have a 360 so I can’t try it out but they should work if the 360 has the right connections aswell.

These speakers look well cool, can they be connected straight to an HDTV so they can be used when my PS3 is not on? I know its SCART/AV from PS3 but whats the connection into the actual speakers, just like a red/white (left/right)? Could they also be used with my 360 as well as my PS3?

Yeah the video still runs through HDMI you just need to change the audio to SCART/AV Multi in the sound settings to get the audio to come out through the speakers.

Sorry, forgive my ignorance. Do these speakers connect via Optical connection or via the AV? I take it if its AV, they require you to be running video via HDMI?

Thanks Darrin! You simply plug the A/V adapter into the PS3’s Multi I/O Port at the back of the PS3.
