Burnout Paradise Demo Updated

I haven’t been able to check this for myself yet but according to C&VG.com, the Burnout Paradise demo has been updated to include up to 8 players online with new Freeburn challenges:

EA has boosted the online servers for its Burnout Paradise demo, doubling the number of players in a race from four to eight.

This comes as part of temporary enhancements made to the demo’s online gameplay, which will last from today until the 14 January.

In addition to the increased number of online players, EA has also added 13 new Freeburn challenges. That’s “3 challenges in 5, 6 and 7 player sessions, and 4 new challenges for those playing in 8 player sessions”, as EA explains.

That’s pretty awesome!

I haven’t played it for a while but I’m sure I’ll be having some fun online with this over the weekend. :)

It’s not up yet….It won’t be on the PSN untill late tonight or early tomorrow is what I’ve read all over the net. Also, its going to cause problems with people having to redownload in order to get the upgraded demo. Much like Timeshift did when people tried to download the multiplayer demo without deleting the old demo.

Those rumours are wrong. It’s already updated and says 1 - 8 players online.

I just spent the last hour and a half playing and never saw any more than the default 4. How do you access 8 player?

  4. Gary Says:

No idea. Maybe invite 4 other people into a game?
