Wow. Great surprise! Unfortunately, it’s text-heavy and everything is in Japanese. Hopefully they don’t take a year to put out an english version.

The first demo I tried has you trying to woo a Geisha girl I think. I ended up with 8000yen and the girl like me by choosing random options.
The 2nd demo allows you to explore a bit of the area. I watched a Cat attack a rat/mouse and Musashi-san gained a new skill, which looks superb.
I haven’t got a clue what’s going on or what I’ve selected during the talking bits though but I can’t wait to get this game!

Perhaps a stupid question, how do i get there? My PS3 only goes to the (underpopulated) EU shop

You’ll need to make a Japanese PSN account. All you need is a Japaneses address, I suggest using a hotel address. But select no for mailing and such.
