Sony hasnt been the king of the gaming world for more then 12 years for nothing they know what they are doing. 2008 is not just PS3s year, or Blu-rays year. its Sonys year. PS3 1st year was epic, the most succesfull 600$ gaming system ever created, its only going to get better as it grows old, just look at history of what happend to the PSX, PS2 and PSP, they just keep getting better and better with time.

Sony hasnt been the king of the gaming world for more then 12 years for nothing they know what they are doing.

2008 is not just PS3s year, or Blu-rays year.

XDR -> 55nm Probably Price drop, PS3 still break even. RSX -> 45nm CELL -> 45nm Price drop, before holiday season starts. Sony's goal is to have PS3 lower then 360 Pro before the end of the year and keep it that way. Easier for Sony to cut costs since they own and control most of their chips, where as MS licenses and outsources their production, making them re-negotiate to get lower prices. Just a rumor, but if it holds any truth we should know before E3'ish. Considering EA's own estimates have PS3 outselling 360 by nearly 3 million units, something has to kick that off, so who knows. I've loved every other Sucker Punch game so far. As is echochrome, and maybe WipeoutHD.
