A complete remake of the old NES favorite Bionic Commando title is coming to PSN this May. This remake has a major graphics overhaul plus co-op and an assortment of other enhancements.
Here is a gameplay clip. You can see, the gameplay is still the same, and it’s a very traditional 2D platformer, but all the graphics have been 3D modeled.
The price is set at $10, which sounds like a great value.

Bionic Commando was the last game I picked up for the NES. Found it at a friend’s house and played through it. Im glad the music still feels the same, and the gameplay looks like it hasn’t changed, which is excellent because the original one felt really dynamic as it was. The landscape in the beginning of the first level looks great as well. I’m really tempted to buy this, if only I had the time to play it!
