As you may have heard the Metal Gear Online Beta is available to download if you have a valid 12 digit beta key. But it seems a lot of people have 9 or 11 digit keys. I got stuck with a 9 digit key. I’ve contacted Konami and this is there response.

Thank you for contacting Konami Support. If your code is appearing with only 9 or 11 digits, then this is incorrect.
Please copy your code exactly as it appears on your voucher in your reply to this email. We’re very sorry for this inconvenience and we will do our best to rectify the situation in time for the Beta start.

I’ve sent them my 9 digit key, I haven’t got my valid 12 digit key yet. But I should get it soon I’d assume. Also after you download the Beta you’ll need to download a patch for the Beta. Which can be done via BitTorrent or http. Not sure which is faster, because I can’t download it yet.

I have the 12 digit code and it worked this morning. I already downloaded the beta
Sorry for you guys who’s code doesn’t work, hopefully Konami will release those new codes soon.

Yes, just e-mail kdeussupport@konami.com and tell them your issue and give them your 9 digit code.

Is this a sick joke? (I know it’s not because this is my case). How can Konami have invalid beta keys printed INTO THEIR OWN PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL??? I will never play MGS4 if they don’t fix this, and I mean that. This is either an incredibly poor coordination effort by Konami to deliver content to their customers, or a serious **** up by someone in the printing house, and either way, someone is going to lose their job over this.

I have a 9 digit key myself, this is extremely annoying. I just emailed Konami. hopefully they will fix the problem.

12 digit but only work with my US master account (I’m living in France).. Beta update available during the first lauch.. pretty slow, by p2P (don’t forget to open correct port on your router)

Rather badly executed by Konami, I have to say. Luckily I live in the UK and am downloading this as I type. Hope to see some of you online come the 21st!

Got mine last night. Started downloading it last night before I went to bed. Then I woke up at 2 a.m. so I started the 1.1 update via bit-torrent, opened the port it needed. Waited for a couple people to connect then I turned the tv off and went to bed. Woke up and it was finished!

I sent my 9 Digit code yesterday and was given a 12 digit one today. Im still annoyed at how my download speed is 0.00000000 and you cant use http beacause the server is down.
