PS3 Quarterly Sales Report
These numbers are given in Sony’s fiscal calendar which is one full quarter behind regular calendar time. For example, Calendar Q1 2008 = Fiscal Q4 2007.

For fiscal year 2007, Sony sold 9.24 million PS3’s which is under their estimate they set one year ago of 11 million units. For fiscal year 2008, Sony is forecasting 10 million PS3 sales.

Anyone think 10 million units for fiscal 2008 is a low target? I mean the PS3 should just be kicking into overdrive. Sales should be on a sharp upward spike.
I’m guessing this means no price cut this year and a focus on profitability?
