Blu-ray movie releases for the week of June 1

  1. John Says:

    Looks like things are finally starting up!

  2. hobbes Says:

    hmm well, not sure where you got this list, but stateside, u2 rattle and hum, and the payback DVD you mention have been out for quite some time.

  3. Sporty Says:

    @hobbes

    Those are both Paramount. They were among of the titles pulled when they switched to HD-DVD only. Some stores have been returning stock of Paramount titles since March but tomorrow is the official return.

  4. Segitz Says:

    Many of the Paramount titles never sold out here in Germany (or where pulled). Like Face/Off or the MI Trilogy.

    Most of that stuff is sadly crap anyways… Rambo rocks though (even 1-3, the transfers were done very good)

  5. mcloki Says:

    This is great news. They need to keep doing this for a few weeks in a row. Once people start seeing Blurays are available in more than 2 racks in the video section Bluray adoption will start to go up.
    My BB had 2 measly racks of Blurays, Same with HMV.

  6. Trigga_Tybalt Says:

    i think i might lose my blu ray virginity to cloverfield. that’s a movie which is supposed to be watched on a monitor rather than the cinema. plus i’ll be able to catch that bit at the end where it splashes.

  7. Tosh Hatch Says:

    I missed the splash too! I even knew it was coming and I still missed it, lol.
