I am happy that you enjoy the game. MGS4 is now my favorite game of all time. I liked it so much that I am looking forward to play the original metal gear (available on Metal Gear Subsistance) and Metal Gear Solid 1 which I never played.

I finished the game on normal as "Hawk" (14), will be playing at a harder level soon.

I just finished it last night! Fantastic game... complete with the same MGS quirkiness that's found in the previous iterations. hahaha

I'm about to play through it again on the hardest mode. Does anyone have a link or a document that reveals all the tricks/tidbits in the game? (ie, Trigga_Tybalt, what do you mean by getting all the player's masks?)

-- what are the other animal "medals" can you get? I want to get them all on my second play-through.
-- I only used about 3 guns throughout the entire game. Which ones do others use/recommend?
-- is there a special reward for finishing without *any* alerts? ;)

Thanks! (this game is superb!)

Controlling the MKII with the PSP was hinted at last year or so. Sadly they didn't do it. That would have been a great feature! :)

It would be very cool! If it had longer range, you could get a friend to scout the territory ahead for you as well.

I've not long had MGS4 and only played for 2hrs or so. Loving it. Thanks for your heads up it has got me all the more excited about whats to come.

Is it just me or have they missed a trick though? Wouldn't the PSP have made an excellant 2nd screen for the remote robot? Imagine placing the robot somewhere as a spy then going back to controling snake whilst still being able to view the remote robots video / audio feed on the PSP.

Maybe they already have some PSP / PS3 interaction in MGS4 so excuse me if I am being dim :-)

i've found myself exploring weapons much more in the 2nd play through. its cool because you get to keep everything you earned when you start again. also in the mission briefings you get face masks by ramming into the all the different character's legs. you have to be quick to catch sunny! :D

I finished Act IV last night and so far this game has been phenomenal in every department.

It helps if you're a MGS fan because a lot of the trailers flesh out the story from previous MGS games, so if you don't know what the hell is going on you may find some of the cutscenes very tedious.

Yes indeed the world of MGS is amazing and this game has set a benchmark that will take a lot to surpass. I have just finished act 3 which is very cut scene heavy but explains a lot of the story and background to the characters, some of the actions sequences in this act are breathtaking, on a par with some Hollywood action films.

Glad you are enjoying it Henning, i think this game will have many converts to the Metal Gear world and the online component is set to continue the fun long after the single player has been finished.....
