RIP: Rat Race

Rat Race, the comedy adventure title, has been canceled. This sounded like a great concept and a nice diversion from all the other action shooter-centric games on the market today. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out.

Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Worldwide Studios said:

We really liked the concept; it’s like The Office TV series. It was kind of funny but we were not quite happy with how the game was turning out and there was some difficulty in development.”

I don’t think this will be missed. I’d never heard of it before now, and from comments I’ve been reading on other sites, nor had many other people!

The idea sounds unique, but I think the few teaser trailers killed any hype it would have gotten. It was met with very bad reception.

Pc : @Blackstaffer and anybody else who wants to know....I have those trigger attachments for both of my controllers and they work great! It feels weird playing without them now.

Emrah : Another Sony screw-up. With the new interface, you cannot create a sub-account for people over 18. This is stupid. In the license agreement, it says you can, but sub-account choices are not displayed at all if you pick an over 18 age. Please advise..

Tosh Hatch : You just beat the single player campaign. And FYI they are working on more DLC already for the game.

Rjcc : same here, I'm glad for a demo so I cna give it a try, cuz I didn't like the previous mgs games, so I wouldn't just buy right off
Glitch : As strange as it might seem, MGS4 isn't that high on my list at the moment. I'm downloading the demo as we type, but I'm not sure if I want to play it. Because I will play the whole game at some point and don't really want to ruin any surprises.

Glitch : The Metal Gear Solid demo is on the European store as well. So you can get it there.
