Actually, what I was trying to say was, that we have entered a world where news and opinions gets around the world and is potentially able to reach everybody, so that one local thing will be known around the world. Like the game Fat Princess, that womans opinions, and yes - the cartoons.

We were really taken by surprise in Denmark, when the news about the cartoons spread so quickly and people reacted so violently, even though they hadn't actually seen the cartoons or in any way were related to Denmark.

My point is, that this is the same thing, that is happening to Fat Princess now as well. People aren't burning any of Sonys studios or running wild in the streets (yet) because of Fat Princess, so that is not my point, that people get violent.

What I'm saying is, that news about Fat Princess gets spread around quickly, even to people that aren't in any way the target group for that game. And the people will shout out their anger, as that woman does. And her anger will be heard by likeminded people, who are visiting her blog and commenting in it.

Hmm... This became longwinded, but I hope that the general gist came through. I don't believe that the problems Fat Princess are facing are as big as the ones surfacing around the cartoons.

"Here in Denmark we felt it with the Muhammed Cartoons."

I wouldn't rank this up with the cartoons poking fun at Islam. One could result in violence (and did), the other is a moping woman driving up traffic to her lousy blog.

And this is the amazing part, the increase in communications doesn't cause more awareness of anything that actually matters, it just invents new nonsense that wouldn't have otherwise existed. Does this idiot woman spend half as much time going on about how badly greedy mortgage lenders have ruined the economy? No, she goes on about a niche, digitally distributed video game because she looks like the character its named after.

If this makes her upset then she will become downright suicide once he lurches out of her cave and interacts with other humans on a regular basis. People are going to offend you. Get over it.

Oh and to whoever removed the picture of the woman flipping the bird I hardly find it offensive. Not so much as to warrant the picture getting removed from the blog.

But well, I am also from a time where tv did'nt blur out everything onscreen, but wasn't afraid to show the viewers, what the world was like.

Here I am talking about people cursing, drinking, vomiting and having slogans on their clothes and such.

Well, I think that everybody has to get used to the fact that with a widespread internet and almost everybody having mobile (cell) phones able to send text messages everything that in any possible way can cause a stir will do so.

If for some reason you get offended with something then you go on the internet and complain or you send text messages to equalminded people.

And then your cimplaint might grow into something that (no pun intended) unresonably huge.

Here in Denmark we felt it with the Muhammed Cartoons. I think that we have to get used to the fact that when it comes to opinions (both good or misguided ones) we really do live in a gloabalized world where anybody can spread their opinions on any matter and watch these opinions spread and grow.

As a result I think most people will grow accustomed to other people complaining on the internet, so that they have to get really loud in order to be heard. And that's where shouting in the street and demonstratios come in.

Naah fat girls aren't unlovable human garbage. But fat girls with a chip on their shoulder and who like to blame everyone but themselves for their situation, aren't too high on the list of lovable people ...

I think she's got more attention than she deserves for that silly rant, but I guess that's all she was after anyway.

The game looks like a winner though.

What a waste of space. If women are given a bad name its because these feminazi's right here. Try complaining about real issues...attacking a damn video game because it portrays a female (that doesn't even look human) as fat.

Jesus what has the world gone too....

Aren't the little guys RESCUING the fat princess? I could see it being offensive if they fattened up the princess and then nobody would want to rescue her. Doesn't it kind of show that no matter how big she is, the little guys still want to rescue her? Isn't that a good thing? I'm not fat, so maybe I just don't understand whats offensive about it.

Perhaps next we could have Spastic Hunt and Turban Burners 2150. That's sarcasm for anyone unclear on the matter.

It is an absolutely unjustified reaction. Would she be better off if they stabbed a skinny princess to death? She probably would, that's what scares me..
